The cushion is the hardest-working part of your whole setup, and the first to wear out. Silicone gradually absorbs facial oils and hardens, losing the slight tackiness that lets it seal against your skin without pressure. Once that happens, the usual instinct is to tighten the headgear — which is what causes red marks and sore spots. Fitting a fresh cushion is the single most effective fix for a mask that used to seal and now leaks.
The under-the-nose full face design covers both the nose and mouth without resting on the nasal bridge, helping reduce pressure, skin irritation, and facial marks. Made from premium medical-grade silicone, it conforms gently to facial contours to minimise leaks while supporting comfortable movement in any sleep position.

This cushion contains no magnetic components. However, the AirFit F30i headgear uses magnetic clips, which may interfere with certain implanted medical devices or metallic implants — including metallic haemostatic clips in the head and metallic splinters in the eye.
Replacing the cushion does not remove the magnets from your mask system. If you have any implanted medical device, or need a magnet-free setup for medical reasons, read the official user guide and the magnet contraindications document linked below, and consult your healthcare provider before use.
