The ResLab Cushion & Headgear Set restores comfort, fit and performance to a full face CPAP mask compatible with the ResMed AirFit™ F40. It includes a soft silicone cushion, adjustable headgear and magnetic clips — everything needed to renew the mask interface without replacing the whole system.
These are the two parts that actually wear out. A cushion loses its sealing edge within a couple of months and headgear elastic gives over about six, and between them they account for most leaks — while the frame routinely lasts a year or more. Replacing both at once also stops the usual cycle where a new cushion fixes the leak for a fortnight before stretched straps bring it back.
The cushion is engineered for a flexible, reliable seal, the headgear offers multiple adjustment points for a secure, personalised fit, and the magnetic clips allow quick, tool-free attachment and removal. Built from lightweight, medical-grade materials for durability through CPAP, APAP or BiPAP therapy.

The cushion is the sized component in this set. All sizes fit the same F40 frame, so changing size never means buying a new mask.
Cushions and headgear are not interchangeable between mask families — cushion mouldings and strap lengths differ. Check the model printed on your frame before ordering, and if you're unsure, ask us first.
Three steps, no tools. The illustrated version is in the user manual supplied in the box.
Check all connections are properly assembled before each use. Improper assembly may affect therapy or result in injury — if the cushion will not snap in evenly, stop and check you have the right size and that the frame is the correct way up.
A fresh cushion and unstretched headgear seal with far less tension than the worn set you're taking off, so your current settings will be too tight.
The frame isn't in this set. It lasts longer than the cushion and headgear, but it doesn't last forever.
Regular cleaning extends the life of your cushion and headgear and helps maintain hygiene for safe, effective therapy. The silicone cushion and the fabric headgear are cared for differently.
Worn cushions and stretched headgear are common causes of leaks, discomfort and disrupted therapy — and this set addresses both at once. By combining a fresh silicone cushion, adjustable headgear and magnetic clips, it restores fit and seal to your AirFit F40 mask system without the cost of a brand-new mask. Replacing both together also avoids the usual cycle where a new cushion fixes the leak for a fortnight before stretched straps bring it straight back.
This set contains magnetic headgear clips. The magnetic field may interfere with implanted metallic or electronic medical devices and with some metallic implants. Keep the clips at least 50 mm (2 inches) away from any such device at all times — including when handling, storing or drying the headgear.

Your existing frame and elbow carry the mask's exhalation vent, which is how exhaled air leaves the system. Check that they are undamaged and the vent is completely clear before use, and never block, cover or modify it.
Always confirm cushion size and mask compatibility before use, and inspect all components regularly for signs of wear, damage or discolouration. If you experience skin irritation, persistent leaks or any adverse reaction while using this product, discontinue use, refit your original parts if you still have them, and consult your CPAP provider or healthcare professional.
