Tubing is the part of a CPAP setup people replace last and should probably replace sooner. It flexes every time you turn over, and over a few months it stiffens, develops micro-cracks at the cuffs where it's pulled on and off, and goes cloudy inside from humidified air. A tube that leaks at the cuff or splits along a crease will have your machine reporting leaks you can't find at the mask — and a stiffened hose tugs harder at the mask every time you move, breaking the seal.

This is a standard non-heated hose. Worth a ten-second check before you order, because the two are not interchangeable.

Three months is the usual interval, but a hose can fail sooner — and a failing hose is easy to mistake for a mask problem, because the leak doesn't show up where you're looking.

Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and keeps the tubing performing reliably. Do it in the morning so the hose has all day to dry.

It is a non-heated hose and is not a replacement for proprietary climate-controlled heated tubing unless specifically supported by your device manufacturer. Check which tube type your machine uses before ordering.
Before use:
Clean the tubing regularly according to your CPAP equipment manufacturer's recommendations, and replace it if it becomes cracked, discoloured or damaged. Pressure settings are prescribed by your clinician and should not be adjusted to compensate for a worn hose. If you notice reduced airflow, unusual noise, unexplained leak readings or any change in therapy performance, discontinue use of that tubing and consult your CPAP provider or healthcare professional.
Disposal and the environment. Do not dispose of this product with household waste. Dispose of it in accordance with local regulations for medical devices. Packaging materials are recyclable where facilities exist.
